Tutoring GCSE students in Mathematics and Computer Science. I was able to get a student to attain a 7 in mathematics when 2 months prior to their exam they were in foundation mathematics.

Lingual 🗺️
Lingual prompts you on a common word in a language, and asks for you to enter the english (other languages are available too!) equivalent. This process is carried out through 3 different minigames - classic, timed, and endless In classic, you are prompted on every single word in your difficulty level, which ranges from the first 100 most common words up to 1000, and keeps track of your correct words. When finished, you can see how well you did, making it very useful to visualise and see your progression in the language Timed follows a similar concept, except you have to get as many words right as you can in the given time - 90 seconds! Finally, in endless you are given an endless stream of words, keeping you learning until you think you're fluent, or just until you get bored.

Pool Website 🎱
Got a lot of disagreements over the rules of pool? This website is perfect to solve them. Being set up as challenge by it being a single page dynamic website with multiple pages of content and having both client server interaction so admins of the website can consistently change world player rankings and current events and remove them. There is also a database to store all this information and it's loaded when clients request the page and they can search for a particular player or event to see other information quickly and efficiently. The overall website is divided into subsections of rules such as: Starting, Fouls and the overall objective to win the game.

Recimend 🌯
In University, I found that it can be challenging coming up with new things to make to keep things fresh and also use up existing ingredients, I introduce Recimend. Although other existing solutions exist similar to this, I wanted to make it better and add features such as filtering types of cuisenes e.g. if you wanted to specifically have itallian. Recimend is a recipe recommendation website that uses a machine learning model to recommend recipes based on the ingredients you have in your kitchen. The machine learning model is built using Python and the Scikit-learn library. The model uses a K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm to find the most similar recipes to the ingredients you have, and then recommends the top recipes to you.

Predictive Flooding of Merseyside
I wanted to see if I could start to get into ways to help the environment and I thought that predicting flooding would be a good start. I used a topology graph of Merseyside, a dataset of sea levels in Merseyside over the past 10 years, modelling manmade defence such as rock armour, walls and groynes.I then used data science techniques to predict what flooding would look like on a certain day selected by a user in the future. Then used an application to display the data in a user friendly way. Originally I wanted to predict microplastics in the river mersey so I could send this over to the local council so they'd know peaks where plastics were bad e.g. Around Christmas, so that they could contribute by sending out cleaners. However, there wasn't enough data to go off to make a reliable prediction.
